Privacy Policy
PONMEDIA ("we") sets out this Policy to explain how information is handled in the UtaRank iOS app and related website based on the App's current implementation.

1. Scope
This Policy applies to the UtaRank iOS app and the related website (utarank.ponmedia.com) operated by PONMEDIA.
2. Data Stored in the App (Local Storage)
Current versions of the App may store gameplay history, player names, user-entered song titles and artist names, timer and settings values, and saved member groups on the user's device. This information is primarily kept locally through Apple storage technologies such as SwiftData. This data is not transmitted to or accumulated on PONMEDIA's servers, and PONMEDIA does not access this user data.
3. Data We Do Not Collect on Our Servers
In the current version of the App, PONMEDIA does not operate a member account system for gameplay and does not intend to send or store gameplay history, player names, or other in-app entries on its own servers. For information transmitted to third-party services, please see Section 4 (Third-Party Services and External Transmission).
4. Third-Party Services and External Transmission
To provide the Service and improve usability, the App uses the following third-party services and transmits information from your device to external parties. Each is governed by the respective provider's privacy policy. ① Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) ・Information sent: advertising identifier (such as IDFA), device information, ad interaction history ・Purpose: delivery and optimization of in-app advertising, and fraud prevention ② StoreKit (Apple) ・Information sent: payment identifiers, purchase tokens ・Purpose: processing in-app purchases and verifying purchase entitlements ③ App Analytics (Apple) ・Information sent: statistical information such as app operation status and crash logs ・Purpose: improving app quality and fixing bugs (you can disable this transmission in your settings) ④ Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics (Google) ・Information sent: app usage (screen transitions and interaction events, etc.), device and app-instance identifiers, crash logs, performance and diagnostic information ・Purpose: analyzing app usage, improving quality, and identifying and fixing crashes and defects (this operates regardless of Premium status; usage analytics is enabled only in the App Store production build) The "Premium Plan" offered through StoreKit (②) is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase, and the subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal fee will be charged to your Apple ID within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time after purchase from your App Store account settings. This payment information is handled by Apple Inc. under its own privacy policy.
5. Website Operation
This website uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure for the purposes of maintaining security and performing maintenance. In the course of communication, standard access logs (such as IP address, browser information, and timestamps) may be temporarily recorded, but PONMEDIA does not use these as information to identify any specific individual.
6. Purposes of Use
Information stored locally on the device or processed through third-party services is used only as needed to provide gameplay features, save history and settings, display ads, confirm subscription entitlements, and support the related user support experience.
7. Security, Storage, and Deletion
Because the App's data is retained only on your device, there is no risk of it being leaked to PONMEDIA over the internet. This data remains on the device until you delete it, uninstall the App, or reset the device environment. However, purchase records made through the App Store are managed by Apple under its own policies and can be restored upon reinstallation.
8. Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
The App may use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for effective ad delivery. Through iOS's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) feature, you can choose whether to allow tracking, and you can restrict the collection of this information through your device settings. Even if you do not permit tracking, the basic features of the App remain available, although the relevance of the displayed ads may decrease. If you use the Premium Plan, the advertising SDK is not initialized and the IDFA is not used.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is a general-audience party game and does not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 13, nor does it provide a mechanism to transmit such information externally (other than for ad delivery). Because all data entry is completed on the device, you can use the App with peace of mind.
10. Legal Disclosure and Contact
PONMEDIA complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions. If you request disclosure of the Developer's contact information (name, address, phone number, etc.) as required by law, please contact the email address below.
